Bride and groom walking hand in hand along an Irish beach on their wedding day

Approach

You decide how the day is photographed.

Some couples want the day recorded exactly as it happens, with no interruption. Others want portraits and group photographs properly directed and given time. Both are done well here, and most weddings sit somewhere between the two.

We agree the balance before the day, so nothing is improvised on the morning. Timings are planned around the light and the schedule, family groups run to a list, and the rest of the day is left to itself. Every wedding is fully edited and delivered within four weeks.

In their words

Jon said he would give us the story of our day and he did. He was there from the morning until late into the night and simply blended in — easy going, great with our five-year-old, and well able for the groom. We saw the day in a way we had missed ourselves.

Grainne & Brendan — August 2025

We didn't want traditional staged photos and that is exactly what we got — relaxed, natural, and the few formal ones done in forty minutes. Through the rest of the day I never noticed him working. Every time I look at the album I feel the laughter again.

Chanelle & Paul

Open to what we wanted, and diligent about it — he scouted the venue in advance and came with locations and shots in mind. Personable with our guests, mindful of those with mobility needs, and never intrusive.

Laura Brady

He went to the venue ahead of time to plan his shots and still listened to what we wanted. He floated around getting beautiful photographs without ever being in the way, and put everyone at ease.

Kim Haller

He photographed my daughter's wedding and was brilliant. Calm, professional, enormous attention to detail without being intrusive. He captured the whole day and evening, and the photographs were stunning.

Tania Cahill — St Stephen's Green

No shot lists, no staging. I work quietly through the day and photograph it as it happens — the preparations, the ceremony, the hours in between.

Portraits and groups

Family groups run properly and to time, portraits made with intent, and a considered twenty minutes in the evening light. Clear direction, never stiff.
